Both being attorneys in Chicopee MA, Jim inherited his father Richard’s problem solving abilities, Jim is often appointed by the Probate and Family Court for various complicated and problematic estates and guardianships. Being both an experienced litigator and estate planning and administration practitioner, Jim carries unique qualifications. Appointed one of the youngest Public Administrators for Hampden County to serve as fiduciary for estates with no executors, Jim was recognized in 2002 by Business West Magazine as one of the top ten attorneys under 40 in the region and voted Super Lawyer by Boston Magazine.

With over 30 years of experience, Bob has combined his undergraduate degree in business administration with his legal training to develop a comprehensive practice in Business Planning, Commercial and Residential Real Estate, as well as a proven track record of successfully handling a wide variety of Personal Injury cases. Previously an adjunct faculty member at the Elms College, Bob has lectured and written on these practice areas. He grew up in the Chicopee area, and he knows Holyoke, Springfield, Amherst and the surrounding towns well. As managing partner, Bob is proud of Gelinas & Lefebvre’s proven success providing its clients with sophisticated legal representation typically available at larger firms.

Christine’s roots in Chicopee run deep. Born at Westover Air Force Base, she was raised, and continues to live, here in Chicopee. She maintained a solo practice for 20 years in Chicopee Center. In July 2025, Christine joined Gelinas & Lefebvre, P.C. and brings over 30 years of experience in Residential and Commercial Real Estate and Estate Planning.

Richard Gelinas, Attorney in Chicopee MA with over 60 years legal experience. Richard has served as President of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Hampden County Bar Association, lifetime member and a fellow of the American Bar Associations, member of the Judicial Nominating Committee and numerous other volunteer offices in local, state and national bar associations.
